Peet’s Lochinver Restaurants, is set in the beautiful Highland wilderness, it’s the perfect base to explore Assynt, Sutherland and the North West of Scotland.
Peet’s restaurant opened on June 21st 2014, on the evening of the summer solstice. It’s housed in a building with a long history of service to seamen, tourists and the local population.
For the many, many people, like myself, who fell in love with the utterly spectacular undiscovered wilderness that is the North West Highlands of Scotland, Lochinver will be a regular destination.
And if, like myself, you have been coming here for many years, you will know Peet’s Restaurant is in the very same building that was, for at least forty years, a thriving public house called ‘The Wheelhouse’, or “Wheelies”, with the public bar “Scotties” next door.
In the meantime please visit us and enjoy our food.
We are about hearty food and remarkable value given the quality of the produce that comes into our kitchen and the wizardry of Peet’s Manager and Chef Angie Kinnaird.
At Peet’s everyone is welcome – we do a children’s menu too. We want our diners to have a relaxed and unpretentious dining experience where it is all about the food and drink, the value for money, the warmth and friendliness of the service.
In the time we’ve been open, it is no exaggeration to say that there has been wave upon wave of praise for all these things and where we find we’re getting it a bit wrong, we’ll listen and learn from our customers.
